High-Speed Steel (W6Mo5Cr4V2 and M2): These materials are commonly
used for screw elements in extrusion processes. They undergo vacuum
heating treatment and overall hardening, which results in high
wear-resistance and toughness. High-speed steel screws are suitable
for general-purpose extrusion of various plastic materials.
Nitrided Steel (38CrMoAIA): Nitrided steel is known for its high
hardness, super toughness, and resistance to corrosion and
bursting. This type of screw material is often used in applications
where there is a need for enhanced durability and resistance to
wear and corrosion.
HIP Material (Super Wear-Resistant Powder Metallurgical Steel X245
and WR5): HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressing) materials are made from
super wear-resistant powder metallurgical steel. These screw
elements are designed for processing engineering plastics
containing more than 50% fiberglass. They offer high
wear-resistance, high torque capabilities, and excellent resistance
to corrosion and bursting.
